IPL 2016: Fantasy Championship guide SRH v KXIP
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab
Transfer out: Quinton de Kock, Amit Mishra, Faf du Plessis, Krunal Pandya
Transfer in: David Warner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mustafizur Rahman, Manan Vohra (uncapped player)
Sunrisers have gained some momentum, thanks to Warner’s magic wielding willow and will hope that he continues to fire at the top of the order because all of us know how fragile their middle order is.
Kings XI Punjab looked like they had sorted out things when they cruised to victory against RPS, but KKR again revealed the chinks in their armor.
The Hyderabad track has been Warner’s favourite hunting ground and you can expect a good 160 odd surface today.
I already have Sandeep Sharma in my team for this game.
The first player that I bring in for this game is David Warner. I don’t think there is any justification needed for this selection.
Bhuvi had a great outing the last time round and against a not so good batting order (especially with Maxi and Miller out of form), I’ll go with him for sure if Sunrisers Hyderabad bowl first.
The next pick would be Mustafizur Rahman. His off cutters have been brilliant and he gets to bowl at the death, enough reason for you to get him in. But again, get him in only if Sunrisers bowl first because if Sunrisers get bundled for a paltry total, he may not be as effective because the total could be easily chased down.
For the uncapped player, I bring in Manan Vohra as the combination requires me to get in a batsman.
If you don’t want to bring in Mustafizur, you could also go for Maxi but then that could prove to be either detrimental or a masterstroke. Take your call on this.
Batting captain: David Warner
Bowling captain: Mustafizur Rehman/Sandeep Sharma
Happy team picking!
