After completion of 50 matches without a single washout, no team has confirmed their berth in playoffs of IPL 2016. With 6 more matches left to be played in the league stage, 6 teams fighting for the 4 spots. Among the 8, only Rising Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab are out of playoffs contention.

Here we bring you all the possible scenarios for each and every team who are alive in the playoffs race.

Points table after match no. 50:

Position Team Matches played Points
1 SRH 12 16
2 RCB 14 14
3 KKR 14 14
4 MI 12 14
5 GL 13 14
6 DD 13 12
7 RPS 13 8
8 KXIP 13 8

Matches to be played:

Match No Date Home Team Away Team Chances of Rain
51 19-May-16 GL KKR 0%
52 20-May-16 DD SRH 0%
53 21-May-16 RPS KXIP 3%
54 21-May-16 GL MI 0%
55 22-May-16 KKR SRH 5%
56 22-May-16 DD RCB 0%

The result of match no. 53 between RPS and KXIP doesn’t matter as both the teams are already out of playoffs contention. Chances of rain are purely based up on weather reports. However, we could well expect at least a 5-overs game in the 5 deciding matches.

(Note: Here, Small margin is < 10 runs win. Decent margin is > 10 runs win and < 25 runs win. Big margin is > 25 runs win and < 75 runs win. Huge margin is > 75 run win.)
