Sunrisers Hyderabad – 9.5/10:

It is very tough to find an error in the champion team of the season. They had the best in the pace bowling attack, which covered up for their inexperienced spin department. Mustafizur Rahman, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Barinder Sran and the experienced Ashish Nehra were all among the wickets. The middle-order was under scrutiny but with time Yuvraj Singh, Deepak Hooda, Ben Cutting, Eoin Morgan and Kane Williamson all came in handy when it mattered. They saw a slight slump midway through the tournament but then backed themselves to win the coveted trophy. And a lot of credit surely goes to the skipper David Warner, who led from the front with 848 runs in the tournament and take no credit away from his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan, who scored 501 runs too. On the whole, it was a thorough team effort that saw SRH emerge as the IPL 2016 champions.
