Coming as a replacement for the on-song Ankit Rajpoot, Mohit Sharma had big shoes to fill in the tie against the Rajasthan Royals. He bowled some good overs in the death in the first few games but has been very expensive. Same was the case with him in the previous game, which might lead to him getting expelled once again.

He bowled just 3 overs in the game as another over from him would’ve cost KXIP a few runs extra. He currently doesn’t seem like having the captain’s trust, which is disappointing. KXIP management used their RTM card for him in the auction, which makes it even more disappointing for them.
