3. Manish Pandey | Sunrisers Hyderabad

Manish Pandey was one of the most crucial members of the Kolkata Knight Riders batting line-up. He has burdened all the responsibility for the KKR middle order back then. Pandey had a terrific season last year. The stylish right-handed batsman has scored 396 runs in the 14 games that he played last year. He averaged 49.5 and scored at a strike rate of 129. He also scored two half-centuries with a high score of 81*.

However, in 2018, he failed to replicate the same kind of success for his new franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was brought by them for a hefty price of INR 11 crores. So far, Pandey has struggled to get going with the bat. He isn’t timing the ball as well as he did earlier. In 8 games this year, he only managed to score 158 runs at an average of 26 which included two uncharacteristic slow-paced T20 knocks. Pandey will have to figure out ways to get back to the scoring ways and should not take too much of pressure on himself.
