The English cricketer conducted a question and answer session in Twitter.
Danielle Wyatt has grabbed the headlines lately during the triangular series involving India, Australia and England. She has shown superlative form throughout the series and has taken her team to blistering starts on several occasions. Recently, she scored her second century in T20 Internationals against India at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai.
Subsequently, she became the first woman cricketer with a couple of centuries in the shortest format of the game. Moreover, she racked up the century with the bat gifted to her by Virat Kohli, which also hogged quite a bit of limelight. Recently, the English cricketer conducted a question and answer session on Twitter where she was asked about her favorite team in the Indian Premier League.
She replied with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which doesn’t spring a surprise, bearing in mind her admiration for the Indian skipper who is also the captain of the RCB franchise. Previously, she also proposed Virat Kohli on Twitter for marrying her.

A journey to turn the tables for RCB
RCB had an abysmal season last time around as they finished as the cellar dweller of the tournament. Virat Kohli also wasn’t at his prime best form, which didn’t help the franchise’s cause to perform well in the championship. However, Kohli has been retained ahead of the retention ceremony on the backs of some stupendous performances for the national team.
The franchise would dearly wish to make amends and string together some impressive performances in the upcoming edition of the event. RCB is one of the few franchises who haven’t won the championship yet, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab being the other two teams. The played the final in 2009 and 2015, however, were beaten comprehensively on both occasions by the Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.
