IPL 2018: Delighted Harbhajan Singh feeling satisfied after a thumping win over RCB
Bhajji returned with the figures of 2/22 from his four overs.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) put on a splendid performance against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as they almost confirmed their place in the playoffs. It was their seventh victory of the season and have constantly ruled the top half of the points table this year. It was a complete team effort as the bowlers first restricted the opposition to a below-par total and then the batsman chased down the total without much fuss. However, Harbhajan Singh has expressed satisfaction after the victory and praised the match-winners.
Bhajji himself was excellent with the ball as he scalped the crucial wicket of AB de Villiers and then foxed the tail-ender Murugan Ashwin. He spun the web around the batsmen along with Ravindra Jadeja who ended up the winning the Man of the Match award for his impeccable spell of 3/18. Even in the chase, the visitors tried to take the game close but the best finisher of the world MS Dhoni came to the fore and won the game for his side sensationally.
Bhajji lauds team effort
Harbhajan Singh has made it a routine for himself it seems to take it to the Twitter after winning the game to share his feelings with his fans. he has done it after almost every victory of the yellow brigade and he himself is enjoying his stint with CSK under the inspired leadership of MS Dhoni. “A superb overall performance !Great win ! Well bowled @imjadeja ! @msdhoni calm as ever and well supported up @RayuduAmbati! @ChennaiIPL #WhistlePodu,” he wrote in his tweet after a 6-wicket win over RCB.
The Men in Yellow will now enjoy a break of 6 days from the hectic schedule and will then face Rajasthan Royals on may 11 in Jaipur at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. It is also possible that their new-ball bowler Deepak Chahar might get fit until then which will be a great news for the team.
