IPL 2018: Eoin Morgan picks his best squad of the season

The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is into its fourth week and has already been a witness to a number of riveting encounters. The teams have experienced quite a few close shaves, some of which have also gone down to down to the very last ball. In the latest encounter, the Delhi Daredevils (DD) managed to beat the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a rain-truncated match.

Prior to the game, in a pre-match show by Sky Sports, hosted by Nick Knight, Eoin Morgan revealed his best squad of the tournament. The team has the ability to beat the best in the business. The batting department looks a formidable one with the likes of Ambati Rayudu, Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul, who has been consistent throughout.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have been trying hard for the Delhi Daredevils and deserve a place in the eleven. Virat Kohli has the calibre to walk into any side as well. Shane Watson and AB der Villiers are the remaining batsmen. In the all-rounders like, Morgan has gone for Andre Russell, who have been stupendous for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) along with Hardik Pandya.

The bowling lineup is a strong one as well with a couple of quality spinners in Rashid Khan and Sunil Narine who have rarely allowed the batsmen to get on top of them. Moreover, the squad has five quality fast-bowlers including the likes of Trent Boult and Jofra Archer. Jasprit Bumrah, Siddharth Kaul and Andrew Tye are the remaining bowlers.
