KXIP – Andrew Tye – 7.2 crore
Perth-born right-arm medium fast bowler, Andrew Tye was a late bloomer in domestic cricket. Since then he has taken great strides in his career and eventually landed in IPL in 2015 for the CSK franchise. However he didn’t play any match and it was in 2017 for Gujarat Lions, Tye got his IPL debut.
With impressive performances, he now became the highest paid overseas cricketer for KXIP. The Australian cricketer was picked by the franchise for a sum of 7.2 crores. The medium-pacer looks upbeat about the upcoming season and justify his lofty price tag by delivering for his side.
