The cricket fans all over the world are all set to welcome the much-awaited season of Indian Premier League (IPL) which will begin on Saturday. One of the fiercest rivalries in the history of the tournament will renew once again after a huge gap of three years. Chennai Super Kings and the defending champions Mumbai Indians will take the field in the opening encounter at the Wankhede Stadium. However, it will be important for the weather to stay clear for the game which often the case in one of the most happening cities in India.
Both the teams will be looking to hit the straps from the word go as it is important to gain momentum early in such a long tournament. Mumbai though have a slight head to head edge over the giants from South India. These two teams last played in the final of the 2015 edition which was won by the boys in blue famously to lift the title for the second time.

There are no chances of rain whatsoever on the day and the jam-packed crowd will be entertained without any interruptions. However, the humidity will take on the players which is often the case and they will have to take care of the same. It will be around 61% when the game will start and will increase eventually and go beyond 70% by the time the second innings will commence.
Being the professionals, that shouldn’t be a problem though for the players as most of the Indian players are used to these conditions and the foreign players should’ve got used to it by now.
