3. D’Arcy Short | RR | INR 4 crores | Base Price: INR 20 Lakhs | 20 times
D’Arcy Short has had a phenomenal BBL season and is the leading run-scorer out there. He packs a punch and can hit the ball long. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and can roll his arm over as and when required. D’Arcy Short plays for the Hobart Hurricanes and he blasted the highest individual score in BBL history this season. The 27-year-old scored 740 runs at an average of 41 and strike rate of 152 in the 19 BBL matches he played this far. He also has seven wickets to his name.
Short set the BBL stage on fire this year. He scored 504 runs in 10 matches at a massive average of 56. Also, his strike rate is close to 150 and he picked 3 wickets this season. With the kind of picks the Rajasthan Royals have made, it seems that they followed all the cricketing leagues around the world very closely. He is a great addition to the Rajasthan team for IPL 2018 and was picked at ₹4 crores, 20 times his base price.
