Here are all the stats and numbers that were recorded during the thrilling Qualifier game at the Wankhede.
Chennai Super Kings once again found out a way to rescue themselves out from a dire situation with Faf du Plessis being the hero this time in the first Qualifier. The Sunrisers were six down for 88 runs after 15 overs before Carlos Brathwaite’s knock pushed their total to 139/7. The table-toppers kept on taking the wickets at regular intervals to reduce CSK to 92/7 who found themselves 43 runs needing in the final three overs. However, Faf’s experience and Shardul Thakur’s blitz took the Super Kings into their 7th IPL final.

4 – Sunrisers Hyderabad now have lost four consecutive matches in this season. This is their joint longest losing streak in the IPL leveling their previous records between 2015 and 2016 editions. SRH ended the 2015 season with two losses and started 2016 with two defeats.
11 – The 11 runs Rashid Khan conceded in his four overs are the joint most by any player in an IPL playoff/knockout match.
