The Sunrisers Hyderabad finished in top two for the first time in an IPL season and will take on the 2-time champions Chennai Super Kings in the first Qualifier. The Kane Williamson led SRH have finished the league stage with a hat-trick of losses after winning six in a row which did affect their momentum. Super Kings, on the other hand, have suffered a few losses in the 2nd half are will be hoping to see their bowling come good in the crucial game. Their inform batsmen have the capability of neutralizing the SRH’s bowling attack once again.

6-2Sunrisers Hyderabad has won only twice against the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. They lost twice in two matches they played against CSK this season.


3 – Ambati Rayudu has three Man of the Match awards in the IPL while playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad including two in this season. He hasn’t had more than one MoM against any other team in the IPL. Rayudu scored 385 runs against SRH in 9 IPL innings at an average 55 that includes three fifties and his only century in the Twenty20 format.


14 – Dwayne Bravo has taken 14 wickets against SRH in the IPL thus far. These are the joint most for any player against the Sunrisers in the IPL along with Mohit Sharma (14). Bravo took those 14 wickets in nine IPL matches at an average of 18.57.


13.25 – Manish Pandey has a batting average of 13.25 in the IPL against Chennai Super Kings which is the lowest for him against any opponent in the IPL (Min: 5 innings). He has scored 159 runs against them in 13 innings with the highest score of 48.


36.42 – Bhuvneshwar Kumar took only seven wickets in eight IPL matches against CSK at an average of 36.42. He has an economy rate of 7.5 and took wickets at a Strike Rate of 29.1 against them.


64.33 – MS Dhoni has a batting average of 64.33 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He has scored 386 runs against SRH in 12 innings that included four fifties.


527 – Runs Shikhar Dhawan has scored in the IPL against the Chennai Super Kings. Only Virat Kohli (732) and Rohit Sharma (606) scored more runs than Dhawan against CSK. He has scored those runs in 16 innings including five fifties at an average of 40.53.


4932 – Suresh Raina needs 68 more runs to complete 5000 runs in the Twenty20 format for Chennai Super Kings. Virat Kohli (5372 runs for RCB) is the only other player to score 5000 T20 for a single team.
