Hard-hitting Delhi Daredevils batsman Rishabh Pant slammed his maiden IPL ton recently. Playing against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pant hammered an unbeaten 128 off just 63 deliveries. His knock was embellished with 15 boundaries and seven sixes. He was an absolute treat to watch and the fans in Delhi were thrilled to bits. Pant was unfortunate to see his side end up on the losing front in the game.
Coming in to the game, the Delhi Daredevils desperately needed to win the match. They were in dire straits with three of their top batsmen back in the hut cheaply. Pant singlehandedly rallied them along to steer them to a respectable total. His whirlwind knock helped the Daredevils post a decent 187 runs on the board.
The innings needs special credit since it came against the best bowling side in the competition, the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
