IPL 2018: Sunrisers Hyderabad schedule for the season
The last match for the SRH camp in the league stages of IPL 2018 will be against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Hyderabad.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad are all set for an improved show in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The SRH camp had got their act together for the major part of the 2018 edition. However, they ended up losing their plot towards the business end of the tournament. With the 2018 edition of the tournament coming up, the Orange Army would hope to replicate their heroics from the 2016 edition.
They got their plans executed at the auctions and have managed to rope in some very talented bunch of cricketers. At the very same time, they have been successful in retaining their core players for the seasons. They had earlier retained skipper David Warner and pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. At the auctions, they did not shy away from shelling out big bucks to retain the services of Rashid Khan.
Recently, the fixtures of the IPL 2018 were released by the BCCI. The fixtures sees the Sunrisers Hyderabad play their first two games at their home venue in Hyderabad. They will be hosting Rajasthan Royals in their first match of the seaso at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The match will be played on April 9.
Their next match will be another night game, this time against the defending champions Mumbai Indians on April 12 at the same venue. The first away game for the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 14. Next, they will play another away game in Indore against the Kings XI Punjab.
After these two away fixtures, they will head back to their fortress in Hyderabad to host the Chennai Super Kings. The last match for the SRH camp in the league stages of IPL 2018 will be against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Hyderabad.
