IPL 2018: Twitter is going 'aww' over Ziva Dhoni offering Frooti to her dad

Dhoni's daughter was seemingly the least bit interested in the IPL trophy.

After CSK sealed their third IPL victory at a packed Wankhede stadium on Sunday, captain MS Dhoni was seen to be as cool as he always is, calmly shaking hands with the opposing players and match officials before leaving for the dressing room with an appreciative thumbs-up for the team. But the rest of the team was on the field the moment Rayadu hit the winning stroke and got busy ruffling Shane Watson’s hair and patting his back in turns.

Watson deserved all of those, given it is his 117 from 57 balls that helped CSK clinch the trophy. Chasing a good enough target of 180 set by the Sunrisers Hyderabad, CSK had a slow start and also lost the important wicket of Faf du Plessis very quickly. But the other opener Watson stayed till the end to see to the team’s victory, first building a partnership with Raina and then with Rayadu. The match did not even go till the last over, as Rayadu hit a four off Braithwaite to score the final runs of the chase.

Ziva concerned about MSD’s hydration

It is always special to score a century in the final, even more so if you end up on the winning side. But someone else took away Watson’s thunder with her cuteness, quite sometime after the match ended. The TV cameras caught winning captain MS Dhoni busy in a conversation with Michael Clarke. His daughter Ziva was in his arms sipping a tetra pack of Frooti, and soon she offered a sip to her father.

Ziva has been seen with MSD on the field after many matches of this season, sometimes in his arms, other times running around the field in tiny trots. However, this moment after the final was so adorable that Twitter had an absolute meltdown over it. Here are some of the best tweets about it:
