IPL 2018: Veda Krishnamurthy having 'fun time' with Brendon McCullum
Royal Challengers Bangalore are all set to play against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday.
Indian women’s team recently concluded the ODI series against England women’s side by winning it 2-1 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, thanks to the performances from Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj. The Indian women’s team’s dashing batter Veda Krishnamurthy’s performances were below par as she managed to score just 24 runs in three games. After the conclusion of the series, she returned to her home Bangalore, where RCB is currently playing their home games.
Veda Krishnamurthy got a chance to meet the destructive RCB opener, Brendon McCullum. She took to Instagram and came up with a message that read, “Fun times with Baz @brendon_mccullum42 It was really nice meeting you !! All the best for the rest of the tournament !!! #escn” (#escn = Ee sala cup namde)
RCB performance so far in IPL 2018
Royal Challengers Bangalore have played two games so far in this season and won one against KXIP and lost the other against KKR. After losing five consecutive games at their home, RCB is back to winning ways against Kings XI Punjab, thanks to AB de Villiers’ calculated knock of 57 runs off 40 balls.
RCB opener and dashing batsman Brendon McCullum is yet to make a mark in this season as he scored 43 runs in two innings. All the 43 runs came against KKR in their opening game at the Eden Gardens. With more games in the season lined up, we can expect the dashing Baz to fire all the cylinders, which will surely help RCB win more games in their title race.
What’s ahead for RCB?
Royal Challengers Bangalore are all set to play against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at M. Chinnaswamy stadium. RCB will aim to continue their winning momentum at their home ground. Rajasthan Royals will be powered by Jofra Archer’s presence in the XI. He has a good chance to replace Ben Laughlin.
