IPL 2018: Virat Kohli has a unique challenge for Mandeep Singh ahead of KKR game

The India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is touted as one of the fittest cricketers in World cricket. He has also made supreme fitness mandatory for his teammates as well in both, the national team and the franchise squad. This step from Kohli has, in a way, has revolutionised Indian cricket with the youngsters looking up to him. However, the fittest Indian cricketer has a unique challenge for his teammate, Mandeep Singh, ahead of their game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Along with Kohli, Mandeep is also extremely fit and there is a special camaraderie between the two mostly because of this aspect. He has also played decently in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and would be aiming to be consistent for the remaining matches as well.

Kohli’s challenge

It is a known fact that Virat Kohli endorses Puma and its products. They have started a new and unique challenge which is named as ‘Unlock New levels with Virat’. Recently, he completed 3 runs on 22 yards in just 8.90 seconds which is absolutely insane and urged his fans to take up the challenge and beat him. Also, he took to Twitter and has picked his RCB teammate Mandeep Singh to take up the task.

“Think you can run faster than me? Here’s my fastest time for 3 runs. Pad up and send a video of your fastest 3 runs mentioning #NewLevels and @PUMACricket . @mandeeps12 let’s see if you can beat 8.90 sec mundeya!” he tweeted.

RCB in IPL 2018

RCB have once again fallen behind compared to other teams this year as the T20 extravaganza has reached the half-way stage. They have only won a couple of matches after playing six and are languishing at the seventh position in the points table. It is imperative for them now to hit the straps soon as they face KKR on their home ground on a super Sunday.
