Virender Sehwag and his unmatched sense of humor has made him the King of Twitter in the last two years after he announced his retirement from International cricket. The former Indian opener never backs away from taking a dig at any of the cricketers and people absolutely love his tweets.

After Chris Gayle smashed one of the greatest centuries in the history of IPL yesterday, the entire cricketing fraternity went berserk and posted their elation on social media. Virender Sehwag, who is the mentor of the Kings XI Punjab, thoroughly enjoyed the Caribbean’s legend’s power-hitting exploits. Sehwag came up with yet another humorous tweet and Twitter users can’t control their laughter.

After lauding the brilliant innings he played, Sehwag quoted that the Universe Boss can turn a live telecast into highlights with his incredible power-hitting. “Live ko highlights bana de, aise hain Universe Boss, Chris Gayle (Our Universe boss can turn a live telecast into highlights). Yet another absolutely brilliant innings!” Sehwag’s tweet read.

Kings XI Punjab in the top half of the table

With a scintillating victory against a very formidable Sunrisers Hyderabad contingent, the Kings XI Punjab now have 6 points in 4 games. They’re on level terms with the likes of SRH and KKR, who are ahead of Punjab on net run-rate. Nevertheless, Ravichandran Ashwin and his troops will now be facing the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Saturday.

The Kings XI Punjab‘s batting unit looks absolutely magnificent and Gayle’s resurgence is just a perfect icing on the cake. Despite his poor start to this edition, Aaron Finch gave a solid finish in the final over striking Rashid Khan for a six and a boundary.

Their bowling unit reciprocated well to their batting contingent’s effort, stemming the run flow very early in the game. Although Shakib Al Hasan tried his best towards the end, the game was already done and his effort could only narrow the defeat margin for the Orange Army.
