MS Dhoni (c & wk) – Chennai Super Kings
MS Dhoni is an absolute legend. Dhoni has been in a sensational batting form this season. He extended his good in the week 4 of IPL 2018 as well. After a decent 26 in the match against Mumbai Indians, Dhoni oozed class against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
He hammered an unbeaten 43 off just 25 balls to take his team total close to 180 mark. His best in this week came against the Delhi Daredevils though. Dhoni’s blitz saw him score an unbeaten 51 in just 22 deliveries with a couple of fours and 5 sixes to his name.
Rishabh Pant – Delhi Daredevils
Rishabh Pant was arguably the best batsman of the recent week in the IPL. The young Delhi Daredevils batsman has been one of the few positives of the camp this season. Pant almost pulled off the run chase of 211 against the Chennai Super Kings.
He scored a brisk 79 off just 45 balls in the match to get his side close. He scored his fastest fifty in the week – in just 23 deliveries. Also, his efforts fetched him the Orange Cap in the week as well. He extended his good form in the match against the Rajasthan Royals where he slammed a 29-ball 69 with 7 fours and 5 sixes to his name.
