Sunil Narine is a big impact player. However, in this season of the IPL, he has largely been a quiet performer. Narine came good in the recent week for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He managed to give good starts to his team with the bat in hand.

He scored 27 with the bat against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He backed it up with another quick 32 runs to his name in the game against the Super Kings. Also, in the match against the Chennai Super Kings, Narine came up with brilliant bowling spell. He returned with figures of 2/20 in the match.

Trent Boult has been the best pace bowler in the IPL 2018. Boult continued to do his good work with the ball in the side. He was a tad expensive in the game against the Chennai Super Kings but more than just covered up in the match against the Rajasthan Royals.

He bowled the final over of the game being under tremendous pressure to defend 15 runs. He returned with figures of 2/26 in the match and his efforts also saw him become the proud owner of the Purple Cap in the week.
