IPL 2018: Yuzvendra Chahal shares hilarious reply on KL Rahul's live video

The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League is scheduled to start in a month’s time. However, the competition and buzz surrounding the league has already escalated, both among the audience as well as the players. The event is a massive extravaganza and franchises strain every muscle to win the championship, which lasts for approximately seven weeks.

The auction was scheduled in January, where several players went down the hammer. However, while some bagged lucrative deals, a number of them went unsold and returned empty-handed. Lokesh Rahul has been a prolific cricketer for India in all formats, however, has struggled to cement his place in the national squad. The cricketer has also played for three teams in the domestic T20 league.

He started for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and then played a couple of seasons for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, despite scoring runs for the Vijay Mallya-owned franchise, he has released ahead of the retention ceremony in December. Nevertheless, he became one of the most sought-after buys in the auction.

He was snapped for a staggering INR 11 crore by Kings XI Punjab and subsequently became the highest grosser as a batsman in the event. Recently, he took to the social media platform and conducted a live video. Several of his fans replied, however, the hilarious one came from Yuzvendra Chahal who has been played with Rahul in the RCB team.

He wrote “Eh sala cup namde” which roughly means- this cup is ours. Meanwhile, the video generated approximately 4249 views, which shows Rahul’s popularity as a cricketer.

Both Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore have been erratic thus far in the ten seasons of the cash-rich tournament. However, both franchises have the firepower to travel the distance. Both teams would be hoping to string together some impressive performances and turn their fortunes around in the upcoming season.
