3. Shimron Hetmyer
Windies are generally known for giving rise to hard-hitting batsmen and the latest among them is Shimron Hetmyer. The left-handed batsman finished the India tour with some resounding performance. He made 106 runs in the first ODI while 94 in second, helping Windies give India a tough competition in the series. The Guyana-born cricketer also enjoyed the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) earlier this year.
Playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Hetmyer scored 440 runs in 10 matches at an attacking strike-rate of 148. Owing to these numbers, he could own himself a big IPL contract in the forthcoming auction. Multiple franchises might be having a close look at him. It would be interesting to see which team gets him at the end.
