The runners-up of last season have Wriddhiman Saha and Sreevats Goswami as their keepers. However, they weren’t consistent enough at the top of the order. Hence, the Orange Army can bring in Liton. He can not only be a solution to their wicketkeeping, but also a useful addition as the opener. Going into the next season, they may not even have Shikhar Dhawan.
A massive void will be created in the left-hander’s absence and Liton can be a solution. Therefore, Liton can open the batting and he may have David Warner, who is currently serving a one-year ban from Cricket Australia (CA) as the other opening batter. The youngster may also get a chance to play alongside all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, his Bangladeshi teammate.
