IPL 2019: 5 Bangladesh players who will shine in the tournament if picked
They can set the stage on fire if given an opportunity.
Mahmudullah Riyad
After Shakib Al Hasan, the 32-year-old Mahmudullah can be regarded as Bangladesh’s leading all-round cricketer. He hasn’t been a part of the mega tournament in India, but can definitely weave his magic. The fact that he is a spin-bowling all-rounder makes him a handy prospect in Indian conditions where the spinners get a fair amount of assistance from the slow and low wickets.
The Mymensingh-born player has an experience of 181 T20s in which he has scored 3163 runs at an average of 24.51. Mahmudullah also boasts of 10 fifties, something which manifests his credibility to do well in the format. Albeit he only has 85 wickets in T20 cricket, he has shown the skills to bowl under pressure, having won his team a few matches, bowling the last over in the BPL.
