IPL 2019: Danielle Wyatt is a relieved fan after RCB open their account this season
If chasing if an art, AB de Villers and Virat Kohli are the Picasso of it.
It seemed as if it’s been ages since the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won a game in the IPL. Starting from last year, the side lost seven games in a row. The fans had to undergo a lot during these troublesome times but still kept backing the team. England women cricketer, Danielle Wyatt is also an ardent follower of the RCB and was relieved after the team finally registered a win against KXIP.
The RCB bowlers possibly brought out their best performance this season in the last game and that is what has made this victory possible. Yuzvendra Chahal, Moeen Ali and Navdeep Saini were all brilliant. Umesh Yadav also did well but did not have the fortunes on his side. Their performances helped restrict the home team to a score of 173/4.
Chase is a cakewalk for Virat and ABD
If chasing if an art, AB de Villers and Virat Kohli are the Picasso of it. They paced the innings beautifully and knew exactly when they had to play the big shots. The duo has guided RCB to several great victories in the past and did it yet again this time. They added 85 runs together before the skipper was dismissed for 67 runs.
AB de Villiers, however, stayed in the middle right till the end and was unbeaten on 59 off 38 balls. He combined forces with his Australian teammate Marcus Stoinis to take the team home. The all-rounder scored 28 runs in the game as RCB won the match by 8 wickets and four balls to spare.
Danielle Wyatt is a big fan of Virat Kohli and thus has her inclination towards RCB. Immediately after the victory, she came up with a reply to a tweet from IPL. ‘Finally,’ wrote Danielle Wyatt in her tweet.
