The Royal Challengers Bangalore team has been the punching bag when it comes to fans making fun of them on social media for the performance in the last three seasons of the Indian Premier League. They finished 8th in 2017 and 6th in 2018 and started their campaign in IPL 2019 with six straight losses in six matches.
The Virat Kohli-led side has found some form in the second half of the tournament with some wins in their kitty but still, sit at the bottom of the points table with four wins from 11 matches. Much of the blame of the franchise’s failure has been put on their extremely fragile bowling attack with the likes of Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj and others leaking runs like a busted pipe.
The team has been utilizing many fringe players on the bench in hopes of cracking a winning combination. This has led to the likes of Shivam Dube, Pawan Negi, Prayas Ray Burman, Colin de Grandhomme and more getting game time. But one man has still to get a game and that is Delhi’s Kulwant Khejroliya and RCB fans were wondering if Kohli forgot that he was in the squad.
Fans ask Virat Kohli about the missing case of Kulwant Khejroliya
Kulwant Khejroliya hails from Rajasthan but plays his senior cricket for Delhi in Ranji Trophy and other domestic tournaments. A talented left-arm pacer capable of both speed and guile, he was picked by RCB in IPL 2018 auction and got three games in that season, picking two wickets.
Meanwhile, for Delhi, he came in news for picking a hat-trick in his bowling figures of 6/31 in 10 overs against Haryana in the quarter-finals of the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Given that these performances would be enough to give him some matches in the ongoing IPL, with other bowlers going for runs. Mohammed Siraj has the economy of 9.55, Umesh Yadav has an economy of 9.39 and Southee has given runs at a rate of 13.11 rpo.
This has led the fans to question Virat Kohli whether he has forgotten that Khejroliya is in the squad and tweeted their displeasure.
Is Khejroliya unfit or something? A left arm pacer with ability to bowl good short length is a good asset.

Wonder why #RCB haven't tried Kulwant Khejroliya. Surely he can't do worse than Umesh Yadav.

Parthiv
Kohli
ABD
Stoinis
Sundar
Umesh
Chahal
Saini
These 8 pick themselves.Ali is gone… So how about giving a chance to Dubey. Same about Hetmyer, he can be picked as well as Nath has got enough chances. I think Khejroliya can be tried in place of Southee https://t.co/RkBDFaT7nd

I would prefer over khejroliya over southee 3 reasons
1. The way southee is bowling even i could bowl same line and length so replace with desi attack wont make any differences
2. He is left hand bowler
3. He is from Delhi so he knows the condition would prefer him

Atleast we fought until we died
Shame
I hope we play Khejroliya instead of Southee or Siraj— Zoro⚔️ (@karthik_jammy) April 25, 2019
we’ve Khejroliya 🙂

Navdeep Saini didn't even get a game. This season fellow Delhi seamet Kulwant Khejroliya is suffering same fate

@imVkohli Hi can drop Umesh Yadhav for match and give chance to kulwant khejroliya..
— Karthiban (@Karthiban4) April 23, 2019
Anyone want to join Khejroliya agenda?

Why RCB aren't playing Kulwant Khejroliya? He offers the variety of left arm fast medium and can also prove to be handy at the death overs where they are most vulnerable. #CricbuzzLIVE
