Rahul Tripathi (Rising Pune Supergiants)

Rahul Tripathi is a first-class cricketer who plays for Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy and is well known for his hard-hitting skills. The right-hand batsman’s inclusion into the Pune based franchise came as a surprise to everyone as he had an average domestic cricket record. The rookie was bought for a base price of 10 lakhs in the 2017 IPL auction and since then his career took a positive turn. In his debut season with Rising Pune Supergiant, Tripathi was promoted to bat at the top of the order.
He pummeled the bowlers to make his presence felt, providing his team with the start they were expecting from him. The Ranchi-born cricketer amassed 391 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of 146.44 which included a 52-ball 93 against KKR. Tripathi delighted cricket fans all over the world with his ferocious and ingenious stroke-play. During that IPL, the 27-year-old announced his arrival in the hard-hitting format of the game and became a household name in India.
