After scoring a 99 in the last week, Prithvi Shaw didn&#8217;t find himself in good space in the second week. He is an exceptional talent but threw his wicket more often than not. In three games this week, Shaw returned with scores of 0(1), 11(11) and 28(22). A lot more is expected from a youngster who is as talented as Shaw. He needs to be picky with his shots and should not look to take risks very often.

Shikhar Dhawan&#8217;s form right ahead of the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/icc-world-cup-2019-wasim-akram-picks-his-pakistan-squad-for-the-tournament/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">World Cup 2019</a> is causing a huge concern in the Indian cricket circles. The left-hander hasn&#8217;t been able to hit the ball well and is getting out for silly shots. He started the week with a 25-ball 30 against KXIP. But he struggled against SRH where he could only get 12 runs from 14 balls. He registered a golden duck against the RCB.

He isn&#8217;t playing practical cricket at all and is often getting out trying to be over ambitious. In the game against Mumbai, he should have played a long innings and helped his team get over the line. However, he hit the ball exactly in the region where a fielder was placed. Against KXIP, Raina tried to take the attack to the bowler right after the ball when Faf du Plessis got out rather than trying to build a partnership with the next batsman.

Vijay Shankar has done himself no good with his batting in the second week. He struggled to handle the pressure on both the instances when SRH played DC and MI. Against DC, it was a meagre target to chase. He got his eye in after scoring 16 off 21 balls but threw his wicket away when his team needed him the most. Similar was the case against Mumbai. The required run rate was just around 7. Instead of rotating the strike, he attempted to hit a four. But the ball held onto the pitch and he got out.

After the tour of Australia, the expectations on Rishabh Pant went up sky high. However, he is playing poor cricket at the moment. He is trying to smash every ball out of the park and is batting with a very little sense. Against KXIP, he hit a six the previous ball. Just about six runs were needed and Pant could have done it with singles. But he wanted the glory shot and played a part in his team losing the game. Even against SRH, he tried to play a big shot even though there were many over still left in the match. Things got even worse against RCB where he got out when his team was inches away from a win.

With his BBL exploits, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-marcus-stoinis-calls-rcb-the-biggest-franchise-in-cricket-world/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marcus Stoinis</a> raised a lot of hopes in the RCB camp. The Australian joined the team after the Pakistan series and played three games till now. In his first match against RR, he crawled to 31 off 28 balls, then did well against KKR with 28 off 13 balls. Against in the game versus DC, he could only get 15 off 17 balls. His performance with the ball was hopeless.

Shane Watson will bat down the order in this Flop XI and take up the role of the finisher. Being the senior pro and having done well in the PSL, CSK had a lot of expectations on him. But the former Australian cricketer has only disappointed till now. He got out for 5 runs against MI and threw away the start of 26 runs versus KXIP.

8. Tim Southee | Royal Challengers Bangalore

After all their bowling options failed to deliver, RCB had to resort back to Tim Southee during the second week. However, the Kiwi bowler had miserable outings thus far. It&#8217;s been a while since he&#8217;s done well in white-ball cricket and is low on confidence. In his first match this season, he had a horrid time bowling at the death and conceded 61 runs in 4 overs. This was followed by another bad show against DC as well where he gave away 24 runs in 2 overs.

He bowls in the powerplay and restricts the run flow. But in the match that he played versus Delhi, he conceded 36 runs in four overs and failed to pick up a single wicket. He wasn&#8217;t picked for the next match in Chennai.

10. Prasidh Krishna | Kolkata Knight Riders

It took Prasidh Krishna five games to pick his first wicket of the season. The pacer leaked 41 runs in 3 overs at the Chinnaswamy versus RCB. He performed relatively well when his team faced the Rajasthan Royals but was still quite expensive. Ajinkya Rahane was the first batsman to fall into his trap this season.

11. Umesh Yadav | Royal Challengers Bangalore

Such has been the performance from Umesh Yadav that RCB was forced to axe their leading wicket-taker of IPL 2018 from the eleven. After scoring a 99 in the last week, Prithvi Shaw didn&#8217;t find himself in good space in the second week. He is an exceptional talent but threw his wicket more often than not. In three games this week, Shaw returned with scores of 0(1), 11(11) and 28(22). A lot more is expected from a youngster who is as talented as Shaw. He needs to be picky with his shots and should not look to take risks very often.

Shikhar Dhawan&#8217;s form right ahead of the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/icc-world-cup-2019-wasim-akram-picks-his-pakistan-squad-for-the-tournament/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">World Cup 2019</a> is causing a huge concern in the Indian cricket circles. The left-hander hasn&#8217;t been able to hit the ball well and is getting out for silly shots. He started the week with a 25-ball 30 against KXIP. But he struggled against SRH where he could only get 12 runs from 14 balls. He registered a golden duck against the RCB.

<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-suresh-raina-praises-csk-fans-for-cleaning-stands-in-chepauk-after-kxip-clash/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Suresh Raina</a> finds himself a spot on this list for the second week. He isn&#8217;t playing practical cricket at all and is often getting out trying to be over ambitious. In the game against Mumbai, he should have played a long innings and helped his team get over the line. However, he hit the ball exactly in the region where a fielder was placed. Against KXIP, Raina tried to take the attack to the bowler right after the ball when Faf du Plessis got out rather than trying to build a partnership with the next batsman.

Vijay Shankar has done himself no good with his batting in the second week. He struggled to handle the pressure on both the instances when SRH played DC and MI. Against DC, it was a meagre target to chase. He got his eye in after scoring 16 off 21 balls but threw his wicket away when his team needed him the most. Similar was the case against Mumbai. The required run rate was just around 7. Instead of rotating the strike, he attempted to hit a four. But the ball held onto the pitch and he got out.

After the tour of Australia, the expectations on Rishabh Pant went up sky high. However, he is playing poor cricket at the moment. He is trying to smash every ball out of the park and is batting with a very little sense. Against KXIP, he hit a six the previous ball. Just about six runs were needed and Pant could have done it with singles. But he wanted the glory shot and played a part in his team losing the game. Even against SRH, he tried to play a big shot even though there were many over still left in the match. Things got even worse against RCB where he got out when his team was inches away from a win.

With his BBL exploits, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-marcus-stoinis-calls-rcb-the-biggest-franchise-in-cricket-world/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marcus Stoinis</a> raised a lot of hopes in the RCB camp. The Australian joined the team after the Pakistan series and played three games till now. In his first match against RR, he crawled to 31 off 28 balls, then did well against KKR with 28 off 13 balls. Against in the game versus DC, he could only get 15 off 17 balls. His performance with the ball was hopeless.

Shane Watson will bat down the order in this Flop XI and take up the role of the finisher. Being the senior pro and having done well in the PSL, CSK had a lot of expectations on him. But the former Australian cricketer has only disappointed till now. He got out for 5 runs against MI and threw away the start of 26 runs versus KXIP.

After all their bowling options failed to deliver, RCB had to resort back to Tim Southee during the second week. However, the Kiwi bowler had miserable outings thus far. It&#8217;s been a while since he&#8217;s done well in white-ball cricket and is low on confidence. In his first match this season, he had a horrid time bowling at the death and conceded 61 runs in 4 overs. This was followed by another bad show against DC as well where he gave away 24 runs in 2 overs.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman, the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/icc-world-cup-2019-afghanistan-name-23-probables-for-the-tournament/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Afghanistan</a> spinner is usually a good T20 player. He bowls in the powerplay and restricts the run flow. But in the match that he played versus Delhi, he conceded 36 runs in four overs and failed to pick up a single wicket. He wasn&#8217;t picked for the next match in Chennai.

It took Prasidh Krishna five games to pick his first wicket of the season. The pacer leaked 41 runs in 3 overs at the Chinnaswamy versus RCB. He performed relatively well when his team faced the Rajasthan Royals but was still quite expensive. Ajinkya Rahane was the first batsman to fall into his trap this season.

Such has been the performance from Umesh Yadav that RCB was forced to axe their leading wicket-taker of IPL 2018 from the eleven. Umesh played the match versus the Royals in RCB&#8217;s first game of this week. In 3.5 overs, he conceded 40 runs and wasn&#8217;t picked in the eleven for the next two matches.
