The RCB wicketkeeper yet again didn&#8217;t have the best of times this week. Even though his side registered the first win of the tournament, Parthiv Patel failed to notch up a big score in the only game RCB played this week. The left-hander scored 19 runs from 9 balls. Although the strike rate looks good, a senior player like him is expected to play a big inning and shoulder more responsibility for his side.

Prithvi Shaw finds a place in the Flop XI in the third week as well. The right-hander was here in the second week and nothing much has changed since then. He scored a 7-ball 14 against KKR and failed against SRH where he could only get 4 runs. Shaw needs to be more careful instead of trying to hit every ball for a boundary.

3. Shane Watson (c) | Chennai Super Kings

Shane Watson continues to disappoint in his tournament and it is surprising that CSK is still persisting with him. He started the week with a quickfire 17 against KKR. The RR game left him with great misery as he bagged a duck. When he played KKR again later in the week, the former Australia cricketer could only get 6 runs. He&#8217;ll be leading this Flop XI for the third week.

Rahul Tripathi shows a lot of promise every single time he walks out to bat. However, he has failed to convert his potential into big knocks in the tournament. He featured in both the games RR played this week. When he countered CSK, he played a poor shot and got out after scoring 10 runs from 12 balls. The MI game was also a huge disappointment for the cricketer. Even though he could have finished the game for his team, he only managed to score 1 run and got out while trying to play a fancy shot.

David Miller played the first two games for Punjab this week and was then axed after consecutive failures. While the team was in a good position in the game against SRH, he threw his wicket away by attempting a big shot and could only get 1 run in that game. This was followed by another poor show where he was promoted up to bat at three against Mumbai Indians. In that game, he got out to Hardik Pandya after scoring 7 runs.

The Chennai Super Kings are getting away with a few out of form players because of the depth they have in their batting line-up. Kedar Jadhav is one of those players who hasn&#8217;t been at his best. He followed up an unbeaten 8 with 1 run against the Rajasthan Royals. Kedar failed in the second game against KKR as well in this week. He tried to accelerate and got out in the process after scoring 20 runs.

Ben Stokes had a terrible time in the third week. Even though he just played one game, his performance cost his team the game. Against CSK, he conceded 39 runs in 3 overs. The England all-rounder failed to defend 18 runs in the last over of the match which is very depressing. Also, he failed to get going with the bat in that game and could only score 28 runs from 26 balls.

This spot was the toughest to pick because most of the Indian bowlers did well in some or the other game. It was between Prasidh Krishna &amp; Axar Patel and it is the southpaw who finds a place on this embarrassing list. In the two matches he played this week, Axar failed to pick up a single wicket. He conceded 30 runs in four overs against KKR and 23 runs in 2 overs against SRH. Being the economical bowler that he is, this performance wasn&#8217;t impressive at all.

9. Mohammed Siraj | Royal Challengers Bangalore

While all the other bowlers did well in the game against Kings XI Punjab, Mohammed Siraj was an exception. He was hit on his right collar area in the nets by a shot from Marcus Stoinis one evening before the match. But he managed to recover just in time and was available for the game the next day. But he ended up conceding 54 runs in the four overs that he bowled and picked up the wicket of Sarfaraz Khan.

Cricket is a great leveller and Alzarri Joseph would have learnt it the hard way. The pacer, after the dream debut against SRH where he registered best bowling figures in the history of the IPL, struggled in the next two matches. Kieron Pollard only bowled him for two overs against KXIP where he conceded 22 runs. And then against RR, he leaked 53 runs in 3 overs and went wicketless in this match as well. Thus, from the Best XI, he suddenly shits to the Flop XI.

11. Kuldeep Yadav | Kolkata Knight Riders

The form of Kuldeep Yadav hasn&#8217;t been great this IPL. The third week was also a struggle for the chinaman. He was economical in the low-scoring encounter against CSK. In the next game against Delhi Capitals, he went wicketless yet again and same was the case when he met CSK again. Bowling in the middle overs, his role is to chip with one or two wickets and break important partnerships. However, he has failed to do that thus far.

Prithvi Shaw finds a place in the Flop XI in the third week as well. The right-hander was here in the second week and nothing much has changed since then. He scored a 7-ball 14 against KKR and failed against SRH where he could only get 4 runs. Shaw needs to be more careful instead of trying to hit every ball for a boundary.

Shane Watson continues to disappoint in his tournament and it is surprising that CSK is still persisting with him. He started the week with a quickfire 17 against KKR. The RR game left him with great misery as he bagged a duck. When he played KKR again later in the week, the former Australia cricketer could only get 6 runs. He&#8217;ll be leading this Flop XI for the third week.

Rahul Tripathi shows a lot of promise every single time he walks out to bat. However, he has failed to convert his potential into big knocks in the tournament. He featured in both the games RR played this week. When he countered CSK, he played a poor shot and got out after scoring 10 runs from 12 balls. The MI game was also a huge disappointment for the cricketer. Even though he could have finished the game for his team, he only managed to score 1 run and got out while trying to play a fancy shot.

<h3>5. David Miller | Kings XI Punjab</h3>

David Miller played the first two games for Punjab this week and was then axed after consecutive failures. While the team was in a good position in the game against SRH, he threw his wicket away by attempting a big shot and could only get 1 run in that game. This was followed by another poor show where he was promoted up to bat at three against Mumbai Indians. In that game, he got out to Hardik Pandya after scoring 7 runs.

The Chennai Super Kings are getting away with a few out of form players because of the depth they have in their batting line-up. Kedar Jadhav is one of those players who hasn&#8217;t been at his best. He followed up an unbeaten 8 with 1 run against the Rajasthan Royals. Kedar failed in the second game against KKR as well in this week. He tried to accelerate and got out in the process after scoring 20 runs.

Ben Stokes had a terrible time in the third week. Even though he just played one game, his performance cost his team the game. Against CSK, he conceded 39 runs in 3 overs. The England all-rounder failed to defend 18 runs in the last over of the match which is very depressing. Also, he failed to get going with the bat in that game and could only score 28 runs from 26 balls.

<h3>8. Axar Patel | Delhi Capitals</h3>

This spot was the toughest to pick because most of the Indian bowlers did well in some or the other game. It was between Prasidh Krishna &amp; Axar Patel and it is the southpaw who finds a place on this embarrassing list. In the two matches he played this week, Axar failed to pick up a single wicket. He conceded 30 runs in four overs against KKR and 23 runs in 2 overs against SRH. Being the economical bowler that he is, this performance wasn&#8217;t impressive at all.

<h3>9. Mohammed Siraj | Royal Challengers Bangalore</h3>

While all the other bowlers did well in the game against Kings XI Punjab, Mohammed Siraj was an exception. He was hit on his right collar area in the nets by a shot from Marcus Stoinis one evening before the match. But he managed to recover just in time and was available for the game the next day. But he ended up conceding 54 runs in the four overs that he bowled and picked up the wicket of Sarfaraz Khan.

Cricket is a great leveller and Alzarri Joseph would have learnt it the hard way. The pacer, after the dream debut against SRH where he registered best bowling figures in the history of the IPL, struggled in the next two matches. Kieron Pollard only bowled him for two overs against KXIP where he conceded 22 runs. And then against RR, he leaked 53 runs in 3 overs and went wicketless in this match as well. Thus, from the Best XI, he suddenly shits to the Flop XI.

The form of Kuldeep Yadav hasn&#8217;t been great this IPL. The third week was also a struggle for the chinaman. He was economical in the low-scoring encounter against CSK. In the next game against Delhi Capitals, he went wicketless yet again and same was the case when he met CSK again. Bowling in the middle overs, his role is to chip with one or two wickets and break important partnerships. However, he has failed to do that thus far.
