IPL 2019: Match 25, RR vs CSK – Weather forecast | Hourly temperature and chances of rain

We are nearing the halfway mark of this Indian Premier League. In the 25th game of this season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will square off against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a return fixture in Jaipur. The two teams played each other about a couple of weeks back and CSK emerged victorious.

The MS Dhoni-led CSK have been on a roll in this season. They have once again found ways to win. They are sitting pretty at the top of the table with five wins (10 points) out of their first six games. Their only loss came against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium. In their last game, CSK beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) convincingly on a sluggish Chepauk wicket. Deepak Chahar did the damage early on as he picked up three wickets in the powerplay to break the back of the KKR batting line-up.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals are languishing at the seventh position and badly need some momentum in their favour. They have been in good positions but haven’t been able to close out of the game. In fact, three out of their four losses were pretty close games and it might’ve gone in RR’s favour as well had they held their nerves a lot better. Also, their only win has come against the bottom-placed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They lost their last game to KKR by 8 wickets as the Ajinkya Rahane-led side could muster only 139 in their 20 overs.

CSK will definitely start as favourites in this game. They seem to be on a roll and their juggernaut has been difficult to stop. Meanwhile, RR badly need a win to revive their campaign and get it back on track.

How will the weather be?

We could expect a full game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur as there is absolutely no rain predicted. According to AccuWeather, the temperatures will hover around the mid-30s during the game with 0% chances of rain. Also, despite no threat of rain, there will be a decent cloud cover and the humidity will range from 20-30% during the game.
