Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) campaign in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been in the doldrums as they are winless after six matches. A few of those came from positions of strengths for the Challengers. Another defeat would knock them out of the tournament. Their last defeat came against the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the next match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) won’t be easy as well.
The game is the second of tomorrow’s doubleheader. In the meantime, Punjab, captained by Ravichandran Ashwin, are hanging midway in the points table with four wins and another victory would push them higher in the table. They had an almighty scare against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their last home encounter and would want to be more dominating and clinical this time around against a struggling RCB.
