The finalists of the Indian Premier League (IPL) last year will lock horns for the first time this year. But the form of both the teams is contrasting. While the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have more or less confirmed their place in the playoffs, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have lost their way after starting really well. They have been at the wrong end of the result for the three consecutive games and the game against CSK couldn’t have come at the worst time for them.

The Men in Yellow have once again tackled the injury and player availability issues smartly. They are well on their way to defend the title and are way ahead of the other teams with 14 points to their name after eight matches. After their win against KKR, CSK won’t look to change their team much apart from a tactical rejig in the bowling department.

For SRH though there might be a few changes again and one of them could be Kane Williamson opening the innings with Jonny Bairstow coming down the order. Also, Manish Pandey could come into the equation at the expense of Ricky Bhui.

Match Details:

The 33rd game of the IPL between SRH and CSK will be hosted by the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The match starts at 08:00 PM local time (14:30 GMT).

The game will be live on Star Sports in India. (Live streaming on Hotstar).

Weather Conditions

Hyderabad will experience scorching heat in the lead up to the game. But it will cool down in the evening and the temperature will come down considerably to 29 Degrees Celsius during the match. There won’t be a lot of dew in this game if we go by the previous game.

Expert Advice:

With the pitch getting slow, the middling scores in the prospect and the big boundaries, MS Dhoni could turn out to be a smart pick. But he has to tackle Rashid Khan well.

Kane Williamson is due for a big knock and can be made captain in Grand League.

Probable Winners:

CSK are the favourites but SRH can hit back as they are playing on the home ground.
