The Kolkata Knight Riders caught up on a downside graph losing each of their last four matches after having won four of their first five. They will be up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday who also are on the same line. The Sunrisers began with three wins in their first four matches but lost three on the trot including two huge defeats at home while chasing. The Hyderabad franchise bounced back with a big win against the Chennai Super Kings in the last game.

All the key stats and numbers ahead of the crucial game between SRH and KKR in Hyderabad:

3 – The Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost three of the five matches they played against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the RGI Stadium in Hyderabad. KKR and Mumbai Indians (Played seven) are the only teams to defeat SRH as many as three times in the IPL at this venue.


4 – Kolkata Knight Riders now have won each of their last four matches in the IPL. This is the first time since 2012 that KKR have lost four consecutive matches in the IPL.

They lost their last two matches of the 2011 season and the first two matches of the 2012 edition. The Knight Riders lost four in four during the 2014 season but one of their defeats came in the Super Over.


25 – Bhuvneshwar Kumar has claimed 25 wickets in the IPL against the Kolkata Knight Riders. No player has even picked up 25 wickets in the IPL against KKR. Bhuvi’s 25 wickets vs KKR came in only 19 matches at an average of 20.52.


39 – Number of sixes Andre Russell has hit in this IPL; 13 more than any other player in 2019. Russell hit those in only eight innings where he faced 171 deliveries for 377 runs. He is averaging 75.4 and has a S/R of 220.46 in this tournament.


472Robin Uthappa’s 472 runs against the Sunrisers Hyderabad are the 2nd most by any team against them in the IPL behind the 488 runs aggregated by Virat Kohli. Uthappa scored those runs in 16 innings at an average of 29.5 with two fifties.


655 – Partnership runs between Jonny Bairstow and David Warner pair for the first wicket in this season; the 2nd most for an opening pair in an IPL season. The duo batted eight times together this season sharing three-century stands and three fifty partnerships.


762 – David Warner has scored 762 runs in the IPL against the Kolkata Knight Riders; the 2nd most by a player against them. Only Suresh Raina (818) aggregated more runs in the IPL against KKR than Warner.
