4044 – MS Dhoni completed 4000 runs in the IPL as captain when he went past 44 in this game. He is the first player to score 4000 IPL runs as captain. Dhoni achieved the feat in his 150th IPL innings as skipper.

A milestone game for ABD:

150 – This game was the 150th appearance in the IPL for AB de Villiers. He became the 13th player and the first overseas player to feature in 150 IPL matches.

MSD @ 200:

203 – MS Dhoni became the first Indian to hit 200 sixes in the IPL with 4th of the seven sixes he hit in this game. Overall, Chris Gayle (323) and AB de Villiers (204) are the only players to hit 200+ sixes in the IPL before Dhoni.

84* – MS Dhoni’s unbeaten 84-run knock in this game is his highest individual Twenty20 score. His previous highest T20 score was 79* against the Kings XI Punjab from the previous edition.
