The 54th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) will witness a highly important fixture for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They will be taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy. While this is a must-win encounter for the former, the latter will look to be the party spoilers.
The Sunrisers suffered a heart-breaking loss against the Mumbai Indians (MI). Despite not having David Warner, they managed to pull above their weights and take the game into the Super Over. However, the side lacked big hitters when they needed them the most. Thus, they’ve got themselves into a tangle at the moment. If they don’t win this match, they will end up putting their fate in the hands of the other teams.
But if they do, SRH will nearly qualify for the playoffs. The ‘Men in Orange’ have got the NRR on their side which remains to be higher than any other team in the tournament this year. RCB, on the other hand, will look to finish the season well at the least. The team has usually done well while playing in Bengaluru. If they can put up a big score on the board, their bowlers can definitely test the SRH middle order.
How is the weather like in Bengaluru?
For a night game, the weather seems to be good enough in Bengaluru. While the temperatures in the morning are in the mid-thirties, it will cool down as the evening progresses. The temperature will be 30°C when the match begins and it cools down as the evening progresses. It falls to about 26°C by 11 PM at night and it shouldn’t trouble the players much.
Unlike the last game, there is no chance of rain this time around as per the forecast by Accuweather. The humidity isn’t high either and conditions should be enjoyable for batting.
Overall Verdict: Temperatures ease down by the time the match begins. Conditions could be good for batting.
