4. Carlos Brathwaite (KKR)

Kolkata Knight Riders are riding on a high wave after two thrilling wins, making it 3 wins out of 4 matches and this year Andre Russell has been their hero. The team has struggled with its bowling plans and apart from WI superstar, Russell no other batsman seems to be in good touch. In order to increase the team’s depth in both departments, KKR can bring in the other superstar from the WI, Carlos Braithwaite. Braithwaite can form a lethal pair with Russell as they both are capable of destroying bowling attacks.
The all-rounder has been a permanent member of the WI white-ball cricket teams and is the current skipper of T20 format. Braithwaite can be a finisher for the KKR team and has the experience of playing that role in various T20 leagues.
He generated good numbers in CPL 2018 as he picked up 10 wickets, and scored 130 runs in 10 games, with a strike rate of 150. He has the ability to deliver in important games, and it was evident when he scored 43 off 29 balls for SRH against CSK in 2018 playoffs.
