Despite not winning any trophies in their eleven years of participation, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will continue to dominate the charts of stardom and fan base for yet another season. One of the main reasons behind such humongous fan base is the presence of their captain Virat Kohli and his partner in crime AB de Villiers.

Life as always for them will not be easy in the 2019 edition, which probably will be conducted outside India. One of the biggest names in the side, Brendon McCullum, who played a blockbuster innings on the opening day of the first season against RCB, might not be the most important player in the side owing to his recent form, but his experience will count.

They also have let Mandeep Singh leave to Kings XI Punjab in exchange of Marcus Stoinis, which seems like a pretty interesting deal. Stoinis has been a key figure for the Melbourne Stars over the years in the Big Bash and will be eager to continue the good form in the IPL.

One of the very greats of the game, AB de Villiers bid farewell to his International career a few months ago. Henceforth, he will be available for the whole season this edition and will be the most important player in the side.

A career-turning season for Mohammed Siraj

This is a very crucial time in the life of Mohammed Siraj, who is still fighting hard to make it to the World Cup squad. Although the chances are grim, he will be keen to showcase his best and let the gods decide his fate. In the RCB setup, he will be one of the most important players and will be keen to groom himself a lot more under the guidance of bowling coach Alan Donald.

A lot of cricketers might be unavailable in the second half of the season given they will be a part of the World Cup squad. The franchises too are worried about a lot of these factors and with the auction coming up in December this year, they want to prepare their teams according to venues and players who will be available.

Here is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Strongest XI from their remaining Players:

Parthiv Patel (wk), Manan Vohra, Brendon McCullum (C), AB de Villiers, Sarfaraz Khan, Marcus Stoinis, Chris Woakes, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj, Kulwant Khejroliya, Pawan Negi
