IPL 2020: 3 must pick players in your Dream11 team for RCB vs KXIP game
These players are game-changers and can be lethal on their day.
Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore had contrasting beginnings to their IPL 13 campaigns. While Punjab snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, unable to score one run off the last three balls of their chase which led to a super over and consequently a defeat, RCB managed to stage an epic comeback to defeat the Sunrisers Hyderabad
While a number of players underperformed for both the teams, there were a few stars who stepped up and performed well for their team. The Dubai International Stadium, in the couple of matches played here, has been conducive to the batsmen as well as the bowlers in different phases of the game.
Hence to make matters easy for you in picking your Dream11 team, these are three players you must include in your eleven for the crucial encounter in Dubai.
Here’s the list for the RCB vs KXIP match: –
1. AB de Villiers (10 credits)
AB de Villiers, the former South Africa batsman, showed his class in the opening game as he stroked his way to a masterful 51 of just 30 balls in what was a slightly difficult pitch to bat on.
The veteran cricketer came into bat in the 12th over, and after rotating the strike in the initial part of his innings he unleashed his power towards the end, propelling RCB’s score.
The right-hander looks to be in form and on the slowish track of Dubai he could be the perfect player to bat through with a mix of caution and aggresion.
2. Mayank Agarwal (9 credits)
Mayank Agarwal would have been disappointed as he couldn’t take his team home after scoring a scintillating 89 off 60 balls in pursuit of 158 against Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Capitals.
Nevertheless, the Karnataka batter played one of the most measured and brilliant innings in recent times as he rescued Punjab from 55-5 along with other lower middle order batsmen.
Agarwal, in all these years, hasn’t performed to his potential in the IPL and this is the year he could make it big. Agarwal is a must have in your eleven.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal (9 credits)
The man who single handedly turned it around for RCB in the first match, Yuzvendra Chahal will be looking to decimate the opposition in this match as well.
The wily leg-spinner picked up three wickets for just 18 runs and his performance was even more impressive as he had to bowl with a wet ball. He got rid of Vijay Shankar, Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow.
Chahal loves playing at the Dubai International Stadium and has picked up seven wickets there in three appearances. With a weak looking KXIP batting lineup up against him, expect him to come good again.
