Rinku Singh
Rinku Singh has numbers to be proud of in first-class and List A cricket, but his T20 numbers aren’t all that great. The southpaw hasn’t tasted much success either in the IPL where he is with the Knight Riders. The Uttar Pradesh cricketer was roped in at INR 80 lakh, but he ended up having rather forgettable season.
In four matches, the left-hander could manage 29 runs at an average of 7.25. In 2019, Rinku was considered in the playing eleven for five games where he managed 37 runs at a strike-rate of 108.82.
Due to the presence of some impressive youngsters like Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana in the batting order, Singh hardly got a fair chance to show his mettle. Having gotten retained for the 2020 edition, it’s pretty likely that he will warm the bench for most part of the tournament.
