Liam Plunkett is the typical white-ball bowler from England. He has a fair amount of experience in international cricket but he has played only seven games in the IPL. Plunkett was one of the vital members of the England team that won the World Cup in 2019.

He is renowned as a hit-the-deck bowler and his ability to pick important wickets in the middle overs and the death makes him one of the most valuable bowlers. He was signed by Delhi Capitals in 2018 but he didn’t perform as per the expectations as he picked up only four wickets in seven games.

If KKR signs the experienced Englishman as the replacement for Ali Khan, he can solve their slog overs woes. Also, if he takes wickets in the middle overs, there won’t be any set batsmen at the death and that could go in KKR’s favour. However, the pacer is 35-year-old and his age is the only factor that could go against him.
