3. Shivil Kaushik
Shivil Kaushik possesses one of the rarest arts of cricket– chinaman bowling. He can be roped in as a surprise package to an almost completely equipped spin-attack of Delhi. He has played in IPL in the past but had an average outing for Gujrat Lions.
He has played 10 games in IPL so far and has picked up six scalps. More than his brilliant spell against KXIP, where he picked up 3 for 20, he is more popular for the game against RCB. While bowling against Indian skipper Virat Kohli, he received a serious hammering the death overs.
The 25-year-old hasn’t played in IPL since 2017 and that can be one of the factors that can go against him. Though being a chinaman bowler is an added advantage for him. Interestingly, the Delhi side already has a left-arm orthodox bowler, a leg spinner and an off-spinner as well. If they add Shivil to their squad, they can have all the varieties of spin in its artillery.
