The teams from the south of India, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings, will take on in each other, in what is anticipated to be a tight contest. RCB would be happy with their effort so far. Despite most of the players not being at their best, and having missed the service of Chris Morris, they have still managed to put up three wins on the board.
They will take confidence from young Devdutt Padikkal’s performances and hope to grab a win against a team which hasn’t been in the best of forms. CSK, the most consistent IPL team, find themselves in a spot of bother. With just two wins in six games, they are placed quite low in the points table.
They would be really disappointed about their last match against KKR. They had it well in control, but a poor show from the middle-order led them to a lose the game by 10 runs. Nevertheless, over the years, CSK have had a good record against RCB, and they will hope this game can mark the beginning of a winning-streak for them.
For you to have a winning streak in the CSK vs RCB game, here are three players you can opt as multipliers for your Dream11 team:
1. AB de Villiers (10 credits)
Mr 360, AB de Villiers, has had a very good start to this year’s IPL. In the three matches RCB have won this year, he has played an integral part in two of them. He has scored 155 runs in five games with two 50s. His strike rate of 176.13 has been phenomenal, considering RCB haven’t played a single game at Sharjah yet.
While he has played well, he is yet to score a massive one. This is could be the game where he assumes responsibility and makes up for the lost chance against DC. We could be in for a treat from de Villiers.
2. Faf du Plessis (10 credits)
Faf du Plessis has had a dream run this year. With 299 runs in six games, he is the second-highest run-scorer this season. He has already scored three half-centuries and has been timing the ball sweetly.
He smashed a brilliant 87 a couple of games back against KXIP, and looks to be in fine form. Like de Villiers, Faf, too, missed out in the last game he played, and will look to capitalise on his golden run of form in this game.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal (9 credits)
Yuzvendra Chahal has once again been amongst the wickets this season. He has already picked up eight wickets in five games, and looks good for more. He has bowled with a lot of skill and accuracy, and will want to bamboozle CSK’s batsmen in this game. Dubai has been a happy hunting ground for Chahal.
He has picked nine wickets in just the 23 overs he has bowled in this venue. Add to that, he has a great record against the CSK batsmen. He has picked up Watson’s wicket thrice in 24 balls, and none of the top four of CSK’s batsmen have a SR of more than 100 against him. He is sure to keep those numbers in mind while stepping on to the field.
