IPL 2020: 3 players you can opt as multipliers for your Dream11 team for the CSK vs RR game
These players can be game-changers on their days.
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will be up against each for the second time this season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in match no. 37 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Both the teams are currently in a spot of bother and will have to give their very best in their remaining fixtures if they are to qualify for the playoffs.
The Royals are coming into this contest after facing a defeat in their previous match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore despite having a good grasp over the match. They have tweaked their batting a bit by making Robin Uthappa open the innings along with Ben Stokes. Their batting had displayed guts initially and thereafter has shown a decline gradually as the tournament progressed.
Their bowling lineup has to pitch in regularly if they are to qualify for the playoffs by eventually winning all of their remaining games. The Super Kings have had a dismal season so far and even they will have to put their best foot forward. Their batting line-up has all the firepower they require, yet, there is a loophole that they’ll have to rectify.
Their decision making as a team has been questioned a bit. Their bowlers have been performing well but, they’ll have to pull up their socks and bowl to the plan if they have to up their chances to make the next round.
Here are the three players that you can consider as multipliers for your Dream11 team:
1. Faf du Plessis (10.5 credits)
Faf du Plessis is among the things that have gone right for CSK this season. He scored an impressive 58 against the Delhi Capitals which consisted of two sixes and six fours. He has been in great touch and will look to score the same way against the bowling lineup of the Royals as well. Apart from his batting, it’s his fielding that can be an added advantage to your Dream11 team. He can either be the C or VC of your Dream11 team.
2. Robin Uthappa (8.5 credits)
Robin Uthappa had a very forgettable season until he was asked to don the role of an opener by his skipper Steve Smith. Uthappa couldn’t start well or convert his start, if he got one, into a big inning. Whereas, in their last match against RCB, one saw the vintage Uthappa who once used to go all guns blazing right from the word go. With Uthappa finding his form back, you can have him in your Dream11 team as C or VC.
3. Sam Curran (9 credits)
This IPL, one has seen a lot of youngsters step up their game and prove their worth. Sam Curran is one of those youngsters. He not only provides one but, two reasons to be in your Dream11 team. He can either make you win with his bowling or churn out points with his batting. With RR’s batting lineup mostly consisting of right-handers, he will be a go-to bowler for MS Dhoni in the early part of RR’s innings.
