Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Sharjah in what promises to be an interesting contest. RCB has been at the top of their game this year. With 5 wins in 7 games, they have exceeded all expectations. With every game, they seem to be becoming a stronger side. Their win against KKR in Sharjah just a couple of days back is set to give them a lot of confidence for this game. They will look to keep the momentum going.
Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, have had a torrid time. After missing out narrowly in the first few games, they have had a huge downfall in the last couple of matches. With just 1 win in 7 outings, they are staring down another massively unsuccessful IPL. They should have won their last game against KKR, but didn’t, and that loss would have sucked a lot out of them. They will have to have a brilliant day to get anywhere close to beating RCB.
Here are 3 players you can opt as multipliers for your Dream11 team for RCB vs KXIP game:
1. Mayank Agarwal (9.5 credits)
Mayank Agarwal has had a breakthrough IPL season. He has finally lived up to the expectations. He has scored 337 runs this season at an excellent average of 48.14 and SR of 159. Mayank has also managed to score two 50s and a ton as well. He would have fond memories from playing at Sharjah, as this is where he brought up his 100. After a decent break of a few days, Mayank will be raring to go and replicate his performance.
2. AB de Villiers (10 credits)
AB de Villiers lit up Sharjah a couple of days back as he played one of the best innings this IPL, scoring an unbeaten 73. On a track where all other batsmen struggled to really accelerate, de Villiers did it with some ease. He is going to relish the opportunity of playing against a KXIP bowling attack which isn’t the strongest. He has a strike rate of 186 this season, and if he gets enough balls to bat, he could once again play an unbelievable knock.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal(9 credits)
Yuzvendra Chahal has had a good IPL. He has picked 10 wickets at an economy of just 7.07. He was phenomenal in the last game as he picked up one wicket, conceding only 12 in his quota of 4 overs. He is a street smart cricketer, and while opting for a spinner as multiplier in a venue like Sharjah is risky, it could turn out to be the difference. He will flight the ball, and as we have seen, the pitches at Sharjah are getting slower. If RCB bowl second, he could be a great option.
