The bowling department led by Jasprit Bumrah makes the blue outfit look ruthless in the true sense of the term. Taking a run-up with a no-mercy approach, pacers have a wide array of nukes in their armour.

Members of the swanky club who can click 145 kmph on a regular basis are the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Mitchell McClenaghan and James Pattinson. They are supported by all-rounders in the form of Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard who can control the scoreboard with their rare bowling craft.

However, what can turn out to be a cause of concern is the lack of quality players who are warming the benches currently. The team management may be seen twiddling their fingers and scratching their heads if any of the exorbitant bowlers face unfortunate injuries when the tough competition narrows down in the coming weeks.
