The Under-19 superstar played a crucial role to steer the team in the right direction as Indian colts went on to clich the trophy in 2018 under the captainship of Prithwi Shaw. The lanky superstar is known for his belligerent persona.  Eventually, it gets reflected on his bowling figures at the end of the innings.

The Bengal-boy was bought by Kings XI Punjab in the auction at his base price in the IPL auction 2020. Sharing the dressing room with the likes of Sheldon Cotrell and Mohammad Shami, Ishan will be excited to garner lessons from the best in the business.

The 22-year-old is yet to deliver his first ball in the cricketing carnival.
