The Tamil-Nadu player was in the Under-19 squad of 2012 World Cup. India came out victorious in the biennial tournament. He is one of the most unfortunate players in the history of IPL.

He had to warm benches for five consecutive years. Despite being in the squad of  Rising Pune Supergiant and CSK later, the team management never showed faith on him. Despite showing nerve-wracking performance in the domestic matches, he was never given an opportunity to debut for the team.

To make matter worse for him, he went unsold in the auction for the 12th edition of the IPL. However, the former Tamil Nadu vice-captain still believes that he would make into the IPL teams with his consistent performance in prominent tournaments like Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Signing off with a hope that the budding talents will be given their due recognition so that they can sleep with a sigh of relief.
