4. Robin Uthappa (RR)
The Karnataka’s dashing batsman is the 9th highest run-getter in the history of the league with over 4000 runs and a lot of experience under his belt. Due to a string of poor performances for his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, they released him ahead of the IPL 2020 and the Jaipur-based franchise bought him into their squad.
But the T20 World Cup-winner has failed wretchedly in this season, scoring a mere 33 runs in 4 innings at a strike rate of 78.57. He also dropped a sitter while fielding and it was seen that he is not 100 per cent fit to play the match.
Although he was a match-winner in the past, Uthappa can be dropped from RR’s Playing XI. With Manan Vohra and Yashasvi Jaiswal in their squad, Robin might get replaced for the next few games.
