IPL 2020: 5 players who might be axed from their team's Playing XI
The on-going IPL has rolled out some nerve-racking final over finishes and two dramatic Super Over finishes.
5. Khaleel Ahmed (SRH)
Sunrisers Hyderabad team came back strongly after suffering two loses at the beginning of the season. They are currently standing at the 4th position of the points table and are looking like a strong contender for lifting the title this year, with all the departments doing well so far.
However, the current form of their pacer Khaleel Ahmed might be a concern for the franchise as he hasn’t performed up to his mark, leaking runs at a rate close to 10. In the 3 matches he has played so far, he has picked just 2 wickets. He has become the bowler whom the batsmen are targeting without any fear.
As the team’s new recruit– T Natarajan– is excelling the duties of a left-arm pacer for the team, Khaleel can be dropped, making way for Siddarth Kaul or Basil Thampi who are yet to play a game this season.
